Jig fishing and harling or spinning around various spots on picturesque Lake Taupo. Our customized trailer gives many options for where we start this trip, with a choice of many areas around our great lake:
- Acacia Bay and Jerusalem Bays
- Eastern Side (CBD) fish along the water front and cliffs , and river mouths
- Western Sides. We can start these trips in either Whakaiopo bay or Kinloch, and head around the beautiful Western bays. Along this scenic journey we may pass Masons Rock and many rock faces along the way. Throughout this trip, we will stop at stunning beaches or farmland along the way for refreshments and a packed lunch, while enjoying the surroundings around and taking in the picturesque scenery around Lake Taupo
Allow approx 6 hours per trip (5-5.5 hours on the water)

- On request only -Transport from/to Taupo Information Centre – 30 Tongatiro St, Taupo (on request only, please call or email to arrange)
Times (can be flexible with times for group bookings)
- Summer: dawn or 8.30am
- Winter: 10am
